(CNN) - A new report says there are fewer teens drinking and driving than there were 20 years ago.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the findings Tuesday.
It said 10 percent of high schools students 16 and older admitted to drinking and driving last year.
In 1991, that number was 22 percent.
The report attributes the decline partly to all U.S. states raising the minimum drinking age to 21 and zero tolerance laws for teens caught drinking and driving.
