The company is a single source, asset based common carrier and IMC, operating a regional/local road fleet and offering a variety of high demand, value-added services. The company seeks a seasoned intermodal sales and marketing professional to identify growth opportunities for TOFC/COFC door to door North American inter-modal service.
Responsibilities: ? New and existing intermodal customer account contact and account development. ? Achieve substantial intermodal quality revenue growth targets. ? Initiate, enhance and manage multi-level account management relationships. ? Negotiate rates/charges consistent with company?s price/service strategy. ? Establish a multi media intermodal marketing strategy initiative.
Requirements: ? Degreed in a business, transportation, marketing or related field of study. ? 10 years of demonstrated success in TOFC and COFC inter-modal sales and marketing business development. ? Experience in negotiating transportation contracts and intermodal pricing. ? Established working relationships with key management contacts in domestic rail and drayage companies throughout the United States. ? Exceptionally well developed communication and presentation skills. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools. ? Demonstrated track record of closing on sustainable quality intermodal revenue.
The successful candidate may work from headquarters and/or a home office. Compensation will be substantial and performance based, commensurate with contribution and include bonus and profit sharing opportunity. Package will also include a car allowance, participation in health/dental/vision plans, 401K, and the benefits of a supportive, experienced team and a high energy working environment.
